Delanie Update

Here is the latest video of Lanie's latest accomplishments. She is 8 months old and a complete joy! She is a very happy baby (as long as you keep her well fed) and is just beginning to discover mobility. Although she didn't really cooperate for this video, you can kind of see for yourself:

Menu Planning Monday

This week should be interesting since we're expecting our first "big" snowfall expected on Tuesday-Wednesday. We're supposed to get 6-10 inches, plus it's supposed to be windy (20mph) so drifting/blowing snow could be an issue. I LOVE fresh snow and big snowstorms (as long as I'm not stuck driving in it) so I am really looking forward to the forecast. Typically, however, the meteorologists in this area over-predict, so I'm not holding my breath.

My menu this week is definitely going to be easy and comfy to reflect the cold weather. I am also trying out a new Slow Cooker recipe that I found off another blog (www.crockpot365.blogspot.com). It's sounds pretty decadent and yummy! I'll let you know what I think of the results after Tuesday.

Here's the weekly menu:

MONDAY - Baked Ham Steaks, Au Gratin Potatoes, Green Beans
TUESDAY - CrockPot Brown Sugar Chicken, Jasmine Rice, Mixed Veggies
WEDNESDAY - Parmesan Chicken, Fresh Garden Salad, Crescent Rolls
THURSDAY - Rehearsal dinner for Doug & Kait's Wedding, pizza for the boys and the sitter
FRIDAY - Loaded Baked Potatoes, Applesauce

Menu Planning Monday Returns!

And . . . . I'm back!!!

Hopefully, I'll be consistent again here on out, but I know life is always unpredictable. :) There, undoubtedly, will be times where I will be too busy to post again. But, I will do my best and enjoy the blogging process as I go.

I have missed posting my menus because it really helped me stay organized and on top of things. Having my menu at the beginning of each week lessened my evening stress and help me spend less money on prepared foods and eating out each week. Anytime I can relieve some sort of stress in my life, I'm all over it!!!

So, without further ado, here is this week's menu:

MONDAY - Penne with Sausage and Garden Vegetables, Dinner Rolls
TUESDAY - Pulled BBQ Beef Sandwiches on Hoagie Rolls, Glazed Carrots
WEDNESDAY - Chicken Ranchero Wraps, Mexican Rice, Corn
THURSDAY - Leftovers
FRIDAY - Parmesan Chicken, Fresh Garden Salad, Italian Bread
