Labor Day Weekend

This past weekend we went camping with a big group from our church at Stoney Haven Campground in New Era, Michigan. We got really dirty, spend a lot of good time with friends and had a wonderful time. Here are some pictures from our adventure:

Glad you had a great time...was this the young couples group? I don't recognize anyone, guess its been too long! We really need to just take the plunge and go camping - lions, wolves and bears can just go away. ;-)

Yes and no . . . it wasn't a church sponsered event, but 80% of the people were from Brightmoor. Do you remember Mike and Katie Swaggerty? They coordinate it and have been doing it for the last 6 years.

I'm so surprised that you haven't been out camping, but I know the wild west is a lot different then Michigan! :)

Wow, our group looks gargantuan, and we didn't even have everyone! (LOL)
It was definitely a great time! I can't wait for next year. Maybe we will get to camp at a campground off Scenic Drive so we can walk to the beach and then, the dirt will be worth it. :D
